The kwara State Commissioner for Special duties Hajiya Ahmed Mariam Hassana alongside her Counterpart in the Ministry of water resources Hon Abdulwahab femi Agbaje, Permanent secretary ministry of water resources and Director of hydrology in ministry of water resources on Tuesday, assess the situation of water scarcity in Dagbalodo community in patigi local government area of kwara State.
Hon.commissioner for water resources said that they were sent by H.E Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to assess situation of water scarcity in Dagbalodo community as earlier reported by an NGO. He further said the Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq led government is hone in fulfilling his campaign promises of providing clean and potable water for all kwarans which will not exclude those Dagbalodo community and other neighboring villages withing the axis in no distance time. He said when the present Government came on board the staffs of kwara state water corporation are on strike claim the situation and the staffs of kwara State water corporation are now active, he said about 10 water works has been rehabilitated since inception of the administration. The village Head of the community thanks kwara State Governor for his swift response of sending delegate to his village assess the situation of water scarcity, He pray to Almighty Allah to guide and protect the leadership of the state.
