I am writing to confirm my emergence as the party's (PDP) gubernatorial candidate. You can be sure that I will bring my experience as a businessman and administrator with a great sense of responsibility and honesty. I express my profound gratitude to all the party stakeholders. The party is indeed blessed with great minded people whose thoughts are always about the progress of our dear state of harmony, Kwara and the entire nation. Our collective resolution to liberate the state out of its current ill situation is a mission we must actualise TOGETHER. The primary has ended peacefully and that should be a clear indication of another massive victory for all of us. It was a win-win primary election for my brothers and me, as we must return the POWER TO THE PEOPLE together. However, we must make sure we remain united and committed. With that, we will accomplish our mission. The state needs us more than ever before. We cannot continue like this, because our people are suffering. Imagine a state considered one of the few food baskets in the nation, yet, its people wallow in severe hunger and starvation. Imagine a state blessed with arable land, yet, takes agriculture for levity. Not that the people are not willing to engage in farming. Of course, we have great subsistence farmers across the state using their pure manpower to cultivate. Just imagine if such farmers have modern tools at their disposal, the only result will be food sufficiency. Imagine a state that is powered by the almost limitless energy of our collective and enlightened mind. Imagine a state you and I will be proud of... Humanity means to be equal to others, not above or below them– now, imagine a state that will be highly regarded for its great humility. Dear Kwarans, you deserve better and it's TIME! LET US DO IT TOGETHER!!!
